THROUGH THIS YOU WILL …

In this workshop you will have the chance to

  • explore the UKPSF criteria for different categories of Fellowship.
  • consider the strengths and weaknesses of examples of past references.
  • generate points to include within an actual reference for a colleague.

THIS WORKSHOP WILL DEVELOP SPECIFIC SKILLS ALIGNED WITH THE UKPSF:

MAIN AREA OF ACTIVITYA5 - In this workshop you will be involved in evaluating the professional practice of a colleague in relation to the HEA criteria for the award of a given category of Fellowship. (A5)

KEY CORE KNOWLEDGE: K5 In generating points to include within a C@N-DO reference you will draw on your knowledge of methods for evaluating the effectiveness of teaching. (K5)

PROFESSIONAL VALUES: V3 - The writing of effective references to authenticate practice in support of an application for Fellowship you demonstrate commitment to evidence informed approaches to your work. (V3)
