Getting to grips with PSR
WHAT STAFF NEED(S) WILL THE WORKSHOP MEET?
- We’ve got a PSR coming up! Awareness of the pitfalls & mistakes others have made could save me time in the end!
- I've been asked to sit on a future PSR panel & I need to know more about what the process involves and factors I should be looking out for within programme documentation.
THROUGH THIS YOU WILL …
This is no ordinary training ABOUT ‘quality assurance’ processes. Role-play, working with sample documents taken from real PSR submissions, will bring you face to face with typical pitfalls when preparing for a PSR & help you prepare, and defend, your own submission.
THIS WORKSHOP WILL DEVELOP SPECIFIC SKILLS ALIGNED WITH THE UKPSF:
MAIN AREA OF ACTIVITY - A1 - This workshop will depend your understanding of programme planning through active examination of university policies & requirements in relation to sample programme documentation.
KEY CORE KNOWLEDGE - K6 - Through the workshop the requirements of the QAA and institution PSR policy are explored not only in theory but in practice relevance & application to sample programme documentation.
PROFESSIONAL VALUES - V3 - This workshop explores the interrogation and evaluation of the evidence-base which forms the heart of the PSR process, from the perspective of both the evaluation panel and the programme team.
