THROUGH THIS YOU WILL …
Experience the role of an active learner in a task-based online course, and develop your own skills for developing online learning activities and facilitating online discussion in ways which promote effective learning.
THIS WORKSHOP WILL DEVELOP SPECIFIC SKILLS ALIGNED WITH THE UKPSF:
MAIN AREA OF ACTIVITY: A2 - This workshop focuses on the experience of online learning & teaching, developing skills & strategies for working effectively with learners online, through effective activity design & facilitation. (A2)
KEY CORE KNOWLEDGE : K2, K3, K4 - The emphasis of this workshop is on experience as an online learner & teacher (K4), on effective ways to structure & respond to online activities (K2) in relation to how students learn online (K3).
PROFESSIONAL VALUES: V2, V3 - The workshop grounds suggested approaches to online L&T firmly within relevant e-learning scholarship (V3). There is a strong focus on learner active engagement online (V2).
SUPPORTING HEA FELLOWSHIP: Primarily D2, also for D1 and D3.
