Becoming a C@N-DO facilitator
WHAT STAFF NEED(S) WILL THE WORKSHOP MEET?
I would like to become involved in running some of the C@N-DO courses e.g. leading a CAIeRO or CLEO.
THROUGH THIS YOU WILL …
Move from the role as C@N-DO participant to become a leader of one of the C@N-DO Core sessions This combines experiential learning akin to apprenticeship with focused exploration of the overt and covert aims behind workshop activities.
THIS WORKSHOP WILL DEVELOP SPECIFIC SKILLS ALIGNED WITH THE UKPSF:
MAIN AREA OF ACTIVITY - A5 - Through this workshop you will develop skills, strategies and understanding to equip you to facilitate your chosen C@N-DO workshop & to contribute to the professional development of others (A5).
KEY CORE KNOWLEDGE - K1, K2, K3 - In this workshop you will develop skills and strategies (K2) and the understanding of learning strategies (K3) to draw on your own knowledge and experience (K1) and contribute to the professional development of others.
PROFESSIONAL VALUES - V2 - A key factor of this workshop will be a focus on strategies to encourage participants to participate actively in all the activities of your chosen C@N-DO workshop (V2).
