WHAT STAFF NEED(S) WILL THE WORKSHOP MEET?
I would like to be involved in assessment of applications for HEA Fellowship as submitted within the C@N-DP CPD Scheme.
THROUGH THIS YOU WILL …
Develop the understanding of UKPSF requirements and skills needed to become an effective member of the C@N-DO Assessment Panel through involvement in the analysis and evaluation of example C@N-DO assessment submissions & discussion with other panel members.
THIS WORKSHOP WILL DEVELOP SPECIFIC SKILLS ALIGNED WITH THE UKPSF:
MAIN AREA OF ACTIVITY - A3 - This workshop will equip you to play a key role in assessing applications for professional recognition through HEA Fellowship, to give clear & supportive feedback (A3).
KEY CORE KNOWLEDGE - K5, K6 - Deepen your knowledge and understanding of the UKPSF itself, explore the varieties of approaches to the evaluation of teaching and learning support practice (K5), and appreciate the implications of the Quality Assurance processes pertinent to the UKPSF & C@N-DO (K6).
PROFESSIONAL VALUES - V1, V3 - This workshop will help you to interpret the UKPSF in ways that are sensitive to the needs of individuals and various communities within teaching and learning support work (V1) & relate your experience of the C@N-Do CPD Scheme to the wider national UKPSF developments.

Shadowing of 1-2 C@N-DO Assessment Panels & a half-day face to face session.
