Develop effective, authentic assessment activities adaptable to own teaching context, develop your understanding of marking appropriately for various HE Levels, & find innovative strategies to help students learn from feedback.
THIS WORKSHOP WILL DEVELOP SPECIFIC SKILLS ALIGNED WITH THE UKPSF:
MAIN AREA OF ACTIVITY: A3 - This workshop involves practice assessment and feedback design activities, underpinned by understanding of principles of design and implementation
KEY CORE KNOWLEDGE: K1, K3, K6 - Participants develop their understanding of assessment & feedback design as applied to their subject area (K1), the use and interpretation of national & institutionalquality assurance measures (K6), all in relation to student learning (K3).
PROFESSIONAL VALUES: V2, V3, V4 - Student engagement (V2), and real-life tasks for the development and evaluation of high level skills (V4) lie at the heart of the exploration of both assessment and feedback, drawing on research evidence for practice (V3).
